3/21/2023 0 Comments Color zen wii uThey are, essentially, completely needless. Sometimes you gotta whack around until the blank surface is completely colored, which can be troublesome every now and then.īattles are one of the complains I have with this game. By whacking blank objects with your hammer, some of your paint gets used in order to return color to that particular object. That's someth ing that sounds really fun in concept: color restoration. Other times, you can find yourself mindlessly whacking at a tree, trying to get some precious blue paint from the green the tree gives you. Depending on where you are in the game, paint can be graciously provided to you in boatloads, even when you don't need it. This time around, you have a RYB color meter that gets used up whenever you use colorless cards, whack colorless stuff, and that's about it. The actual new mechanic of this game is paint. Once again, Things return, and this time at least you get some more hints on which Thing you'll need at a given moment. Once again, attacks in battles depend on you having the right stickers.I mean, cards, in your inventory. This isn’t a game for long sessions but for its price, it’s a great entry for the Nintendo eShop, mostly for those who want to relax after a long day of work. The game plays a lot like Sticker Star, which wasn't very warmly welcomed by fans of the Paper Mario series. It’s an interesting game featuring a lot of levels that wants to offer a relaxing experience to the player. Sadly, the replay value is quite limited and the game manual is lacking, but you can see the tutorial anytime in the title or the pause menu of the game. The presentation of the game is nice: the game gives you a good explanation of the game rules, a nice menu design and well, over 400 levels. In a short way to explain, the game itself offers a relaxing experience that can be easily enjoined, and aims to offer a stress-free experience. The soundtrack of the game is relaxing and quite interesting, offering 16 different tracks that can be only played with the Gamepad (you can only hear the sounds with the TV). Still, I recommend you to play with headphones, where the music can be enjoyed better. The game looks nice using abstract shapes for the game and interesting designs across the whole game. If you skipped five levels and want to skip another one, it’s time to beat one of the skipped levels if you want to continue playing. Last but not unimportant: you’re able to skip up to five levels. The controls of the game are well done, using the tactile screen of the GamePad, with this I mean no buttons are used for the game: you move the shapes dragging them with the stylus, and tapping the background twice allows you to use the pause menu. Of course, the game gets repetitive after long playtime sessions, maybe because it was designed for mobiles devices, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad game. Meanwhile, the first levels are easy and fast to complete the levels become more and more difficult with time, featuring a total of 460 levels. There are special rules in the game: white shapes can be combined with every color (including themselves), black ones are able to remove any color and those shapes with dotted lines are able to make to shield shapes from changing colors. Color Zen is an interesting puzzle game using geometric shapes. The goal is simple: you need to connect the objects of the same color until you fill the screen with the same color indicated in the corner of the screen.
